1. The Service

SnapCV.co is a free, browser-based tool that helps you build a CV / résumé and download it as a PDF. The Service is provided without charge.

All inputs you provide are stored locally in your browser (using localStorage). We do not transmit, store, or have access to your CV data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

2. No account required

You do not need to register, sign up, or provide an email address to use the Service. We do not collect account information.

3. Eligibility

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain all rights, title, and interest in the content you create using the Service (“Your Content”). We make no claim of ownership over Your Content and do not receive a copy of it.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content, including any third-party information you include (for example, references or employer names).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• Circumvent security measures or access non-public areas of the Service;
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a way that burdens our infrastructure or violates these Terms;
• Submit content that infringes third-party rights, is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful;
• Use the Service to impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications in ways that violate applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The Service — including its templates, design, code, copy, brand, and other materials (excluding Your Content) — is owned by SnapCV.co or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may freely use any CV or document you generate for your personal job-search and professional purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or pass off our templates, designs, or source code as your own product or service.

7. Availability and changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service without notice or liability.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Because Your Content is stored only in your browser, you are responsible for backing it up. We are not liable if Your Content is lost (for example, if you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use private browsing).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall SnapCV.co, its operators, contributors, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, business, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for consumer rights that cannot be waived).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapCV.co and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
